AUXiL Launch Marks a New Era of Australia–Israel Innovation & Investment Collaboration

The launch of AUXiL: Australia Israel Exchange this past week signaled a major step forward in strengthening commercial, technological, and research ties between Australia and Israel.

Hosted in the elegant offices of ArnoldBlochLeibler, the event brought together investors, founders, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders for what many attendees described as a “defining moment” for future collaboration.

AUXiL, an initiative of CBDChabad Sydney, emerges from the foundations laid by the Building Bridges program, established in 2023 during Israel’s most challenging period. Originally created to support Israel’s economic stability through practical, investment-driven partnerships rather than charity, Building Bridges went on to host a diverse range of companies and organizations, from OurCrowd  and monday.com to Netafim, IAI – Israel Aerospace Industries, research groups, and The M&H Distillery.

2025 marks a shift from reactive response to proactive vision.

The launch of AUXiL reflects a bold new strategy: creating an open-sourced, collaborative marketplace where Australians and Israelis can meaningfully engage across investment, entrepreneurship, defense innovation, and R&D.

The event featured keynote remarks from Mr. Ohad Blumberg, Israel Trade and Economic Commission Australia, whose address highlighted the continued resilience and global competitiveness of Israel’s innovation ecosystem. His message underscored AUXiL’s strong collaborative partnerships with the Israel Trade Commission and Technion Australia, partnerships that bring both institutional support and long-term strategic alignment to the platform.

A major highlight of the lunch was a compelling business presentation by Mr. Jonathan Hulaty, Senior Director at Elbit Systems Australia. Hulaty offered an inside look at both the national and global achievements of Elbit’s Australian operations, providing rare insight into the technological and defense capabilities that define Israel’s contribution to global innovation. His presentation set a high benchmark for the caliber of content AUXiL plans to showcase.

The success of the launch was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Tony Mitchell, whose support reinforced the strong community and industry backing behind AUXiL’s mission.

As AUXiL begins its formal journey in 2025, the platform positions itself as a dynamic hub for investors, innovators, founders, business leaders, and traders, a space designed to foster genuine collaboration, commercial growth, and cross-border opportunity. With a clear ethos of “Network. Invest. Grow. Collaborate,” AUXiL aims to become one of Sydney’s leading gateways into Israeli innovation and commercial partnership.
