Bais Rivkah Seminary Alef Announces Exciting Updates, A month in Eretz Yisroel, Early Childhood Training and more
Bais Rivkah Seminary in Crown Heights has long provided young Chabad women the opportunity to learn and be inspired in the Rebbe’s shechuna, while simultaneously utilizing their talents and passion in community work.
In recent years, the seminary has come to be known for its high caliber of learning and the wholesome, authentic chinuch it imparts to its students, anchored firmly in the Rebbe’s teachings. With an outstanding lineup of instructors, extensive and quality programming, and a warm Chassidishe atmosphere, students are empowered to navigate the turbulent times we live in. Students will be given tools for their crucial years of young adulthood to build their own Yiddishe homes on a strong foundation and to greet Moshiach.
Always expanding and growing, Bais Rivkah has announced exciting new opportunities for Seminary Alef students for the coming year, 5786. These include:
Expanded Eretz Yisroel Live ‘n Learn Experience: A highly popular part of the program, Live ‘n Learn allows Seminary Alef students to experience the inspiration of Eretz Yisroel in a trip packed with hands-on learning, visits to mekomos hakedoshim, and so much more. For the upcoming year, in response to much interest, the Experience will be expanded to a full month b’ezras Hashem. Students of Bais Rivkah Seminary Alef will gain from an ideal chinuch experience in Crown Heights while also having the opportunity to “Live Eretz Yisroel” for a more substantial amount of time.
Higher Level Learning: Students of Seminary Alef will have the opportunity to choose a track of advanced learning, including more text-based classes.
Leadership Training: Students will have expanded opportunities for leadership, both in the chinuch of the local community and in shlichus programs, along with relevant guidance and inspiration, as part of a leadership training program.
Early Childhood Training Program: Students will have the opportunity to choose an Education Track and receive quality training in early childhood education through classes and field work.
Dormitory Available to Local Students: The center of seminary life is the dorm. With all out of town students gaining from its all-encompassing atmosphere, Bais Rivkah is offering local students the opportunity to reserve a slot in the dormitory as well, allowing them too to gain from the full immersion experience that the setting provides.
Over the years, many high school graduates have expressed a desire to gain from the quality chinuch Bais Rivkah Seminary is known for, while also having the opportunity to spend a year living away from home and having the Eretz Yisroel experience. Fortunately, they no longer need to choose.
