“Lubavitcher Rebbe Way” Lineup Announced – Historic Event Set for Sunday

The historic unveiling of “Lubavitcher Rebbe Way” will take place on Ches Nissan, April 6th, just days before Yud Aleph Nissan, at 4:30 PM—bringing the community together for an inspiring celebration of the Rebbe’s continuous impact on the world.

The event will open with the 12 Pesukim, led by Rabbi Shimon Hecht, at 4:30 PM sharp.

A lineup of performers will take part, including Cantor Shlomie Rabin, singer-songwriter Boruch Sholom Blesofsky, and a special performance by the Tomchei Temimim Choir. Rabbi Shalom M. Paltiel, Shliach to Port Washington, will deliver a special address.

In a strong show of support, many citywide and state elected officials have confirmed their attendance and issued proclamations, calling for an increase in goodness and kindness—echoing the timeless message the Rebbe shared with the world via CNN.

The program will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, rain or shine, with live music by Choni Milecki starting at 4:00 PM—so arrive early and be part of history in the making!

For security and logistical reasons, no parking will be allowed on President Street between Brooklyn and New York Avenues from 8:00 AM on Sunday. The street will be closed for most of the day, though organizers will work to maintain driveway access for as long as possible.

A special thank you to NCFJE, MASK, Interborough (IDCC), the OK, Bais Shmuel, COLlive, The JFA, the Office of Council Member Crystal Hudson, the Department of Transportation and the NYPD for making this event possible.
