With unprecedented participation expected at the conference this year, members of the Kinus committee met with representatives of various New York City law enforcement agencies yesterday in preparation for the annual International Conference of Shluchos taking place next week.

Led by Rabbi Mendel Kotlarsky, coordinator of the conference, together with Rabbi Schneur Najar and Rabbi Yaacov Behrman of the organizing committee, the annual meeting was productive with participants going over the various security measures to ensure the safety and success of the world’s largest gathering of Jewish women. Officials from the 71st and 77th precincts, and Brooklyn South, were all represented at the meeting, which was held at the Jewish Children’s Museum.

“We are extremely grateful to the members of the New York Police Department for their help every year in caring for the safety of the thousands of participants who will be coming to New York City for the conference,” shared the Kinus coordinator, Rabbi Mendel Kotlarsky, “Security is our top priority. We are here to ensure everyone in attendance feels safe throughout the conference.”
