Treasures from the Oholei Torah Archive: Rabbi Rosenfeld’s Memories of the Frierdiker Rebbe
In honor of the 75th year of Yud Shvat, Oholei Torah is proud to present a special video featuring our beloved Menahel, Rabbi Yosef C. HaKohen Rosenfeld, a”h, as he shares cherished memories of his time with the Frierdiker Rebbe in 770. As a young talmid during the Frierdiker Rebbe’s nesius, Rabbi Rosenfeld was privileged to receive personal brachos and guidance.
The video captures a rare tour of the Frierdiker Rebbe’s apartment and Cheder Yechidus on the second floor of 770. This memorable tour was coordinated by Rabbi Velly Karp, who brought along his third-grade class in 5768, alongside other members of the Oholei Torah community.
Oholei Torah continues to be a beacon of Chassidishe Chinuch. In the weeks leading up to Yud Shvat, all classes from Preschool through Beis Medrash have been active in special preparations for Yud Shvat, including learning Basi L’Gani, going to the Ohel, and special Mivtza Hachanah in each division.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Oholei Torah Archive Office for sharing this treasured video in full for the very first time.
