Popular Protein Bar Company NuGo, Announces Recall On Two Kosher Products

Two very popular protein bars from NuGo have been recalled by the company over the possibility of dairy being present in them.

“Out of an abundance of caution there is a voluntary limited recall on two items, NuGo Dark Chocolate Chip and NuGo Dark Pretzel because of the potential for dairy to be present,” NuGo wrote in an online statement. “If you have an allergy to dairy do not consume these products.”

These bars are certified by the OU, and are labeled Parve.

In a letter sent to people believed to have purchased the products, NuGo outlined the limited recall, naming only four lots with best by dates of 22nd and 23rd of December 2025.
