Sarah Dukes: “The Grand Farbrengen That Happens in the Heavens As Each Soul Returns Back to its Maker”

As the third Yartzeit for Rabbi Yudi Dukes OBM approaches on the 8th of Shevat, his wife Sarah Dukes gives her thoughts to the tragedies that have befallen the Jewish nation.

There have been a lot of tragic and devastating losses in our communities- and in the world recently. So much pain. So much darkness for the family and friends left behind. For the wives. For the children…⁣

I can’t help but think of the grand farbrengen that happens in the heavens as each soul returns back to its Maker. Celebrating together- soul with soul. Soul with G-d. ⁣
⁣
I think about how my husband, Yudi of blessed memory, is probably one of the ones fighting to be in front of the Gate of Heaven, welcoming everyone home to the World of Truth with open arms and his big beaming smile. ⁣
⁣
But as completely safe, pure, and blissful as it is up there, the highest elevation and eternal happiness will take place down here, when we are shown how spiritual permeates all that’s physical and that everything is completely immersed in G-dliness. ⁣
⁣
May all these holy souls return to this physical world and be reunited with their families immediately, with the coming of Moshiach. ⁣

Sending so much strength to all the families who have lost a loved one. May Hashem transform all pain with comfort, peace, and joy. He can and WILL “K’heref Ayin” – in the blink of an eye! ⁣

As we prepare ourselves for Yudi’s 3rd yahrtzeit next week (8 Shevat), we visualize the Seudas Yahrtzeit being transformed into a Seudas Hoda’ah, celebrating with Yudi in physicality and totality.⁣
