BDE: Rabbi Amram Blau, 80, OBM

With great sadness we report the untimely passing of Rabbi Amram Blau, the director of Mifal Kollel Chabad in Yerushalayim, and member of anash in Kfar Chabad. He was 80 years old.

Rabbi Blau was struck and killed by a city bus in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood of Yerushalayim at around 2:00pm.

He is survived by his wife Yehudis and children, Rabbi Yaakov Blau (Bnei Brak, Israel), Rabbi Itzik Blau (Kfar Chabad, Israel), Rabbi Moshe Blau, Mrs. Sarah Kubitchek (Kiryat Gat, Israel), Mrs. Shoshana Kot (Jerusalem, Israel), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his brother, Rabbi Tuvia Blau of Jerusalem.

Levaya is scheduled for Thursday night in Israel.
