OECD Delegation Visits Kfar Chabad Yeshiva

A special delegation on behalf of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, the OECD, conducted a special visit to the ‘Ohalei Tmimim’ Yeshiva in Kfar Chabad. The delegation visited the Caterpillar factory in Holon, where they watched the yeshiva students presenting the practical knowledge they gained in the Autotronica classes in the Yeshiva, on Engines located in the factory’s workshop.

Accompanied by the Yeshiva’s CEO, Shmuel Raynitz, the CEO of the ATID educational network Mr. Menashe Samira, the former CEO of the ATID educational network Mr. Amiad Gurevitz, Mr. Shuli Eyal, head of the Youth apprenticeships department in the Ministry of Labor, and R’ Yaakov Meyuchas from the Yeshiva’s administration – the delegation traveled from the Yeshiva’s buildings to the Caterpillar factory in Holon,  where they watched the yeshiva students presenting the practical knowledge they gained in the Autotronica classes in Yeshiva, on Engines located in the factory’s workshop.

Later on in the visit, R’ Shmuel Raynitz spoke in front of the distinguished delegation and explained the goals of the Yeshiva, that combines Torah study, Nigle and Chassidus, arts and trades, as the Rebbe instructed the administration of the ‘Beit Sefer LeMelacha’ for the children of Anash back in 5712 (1952).

Later on in his speech, Rabbi Raynitz also thanked Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Elituv, who has been working non-stop behind the scenes for the last two years for the benefit of the pupils and the institutes’ buildings. “And you can all see the results” Rabbi Raynitz pointed out as he ended his speech.

Mr. Menashe Samira presented the guests with the Yeshiva’s professional program, and the network’s large investment in the Chassidic institute attended by pupils from all over the country.
