Oholei Torah Staff Receive Generous Chanukah Gift

Philanthropist and businessman R’ Yosef Yitzchak  and his wife Batsheva Popack have once again given a special Chanukah gift to all the teachers and morahs of Oholei Torah in honor of Chanukah. The Oholei Torah PTA joined, as in previous years, to sponsor the Mesivta, Beis Medrash and administrative divisions.

While there is much emphasis about mivztoim, public candle lighting and the like over the Yom Tov of Chanukah, Mr. Popack, together with the PTA, did not forget the unique message of Chanukah, which is Chinuch – that young kinderlach should learn and live the Torah.

This has become a tradition and Educational Institute Oholei Torah is proud to be the recipient of the philanthropic chessed of Yoseph Yitzchok and Batsheva Popack, in addition to their many other ongoing projects that they do for Oholei Torah.

The many dedicated mothers of the PTA, who give their heart and soul with their involvement to the mossad and greatly enhance many areas for the students  in Oholei Torah, included the Melamdim with this recognition.

Rabbi Sholom Rosenfeld, Director, who coordinated this years Chanukah gelt, thanked the sponsors who enabled this project of teachers and staff recognition, and expressed how proud he is of the dedicated staff. “It is through these guarantors, the Tinokos Shel Bais Raban, that will bring Moshiach,” he said.

Zal staff get lots of kovod (being rosh mesivta or rosh yeshiva or R”am). That is worth more than money. Melamdim and Morahs are the ones that need to expressions of value and appreciation because they get none.

It is a very kind & generous gift from people who value the work the teachers put in to their students. You have no idea how validated the staff feels – not just from the gift, but from the sentiments and hakores hatov behind it.

May Reb Yosef & his Rebbetzin be blessed with an abundance of nachas from their own children.
