Fathers and Sons Unite for Melave Malka
In celebration of Hakhel, fathers and sons of Oholei Torah Mesivta gathered together this past Motzei Shabbos for a special Melave Malka.
The crowd was motivated by Rabbi Efraim Mintz’s meaningful words, warmed by Rabbi Y. Twerski’s sipurei chassidim and entertained by the illusionist Marc Garfinkel.
A dvar torah was delivered by Avremal Cohen, and music was provided by Mendel Kugel and Moshe Glick, all talmidim of the mesivta. A beautiful megila, sponsored jointly by Rabbi Moshe Klein and the Lerman-Chitrik family, was raffled off.
The event was chaired by Rabbi Moshe Pinson, organized by The Mesivta Project of Oholei Torah and co-sponsored by the PTA.
The Mesivta Project, under direction of Esty Kugel and with direct co-operation of Oholei Torah administration and the Mesivta principal, Rabbi Zushe Wilhelm, has undertaken to invigorate the Mesivta of our own boys, here, in our own shechuna.
