Mothers and Daughters Unite to Celebrate Hakhel
Bais Chaya Mushka of Los Angeles celebrated Rosh Chodesh Adar Sheini in fantastic style with back-to-back Mother/Daughter and Hakhel gatherings.
The auditorium was lavishly decorated as the Chatzer of the Beis Hamikdash, and our students dressed to represent how the men, women, and children would all gather before the king.
There was a true feeling of achdus in the room. Mothers and daughters sat together for a delicious breakfast seuda.
The Hakhel gathering began with the recitation of Tehillim together and the Hayom Yom taught by students from BCM. There were many entertaining and creative performances by entire classes and grades depicting Hakhel gatherings in the times of the Beis Hamikdash, and encouraging everyone to make their own Hakhel gatherings as well. Mothers and daughters participated in Chavrusa learning together, and also said the 12 Pesukim as one.
The students demonstrated their extensive knowledge of both Purim and the concept of Hakhel throughout the events, through song, dance, live performance, and Divrei Torah. All attendees were very impressed with what they saw.
A special thank you to Hebrew Studies Principal Mrs. Fradel Bukiet, Assistant Principal Ms. Simi Raichik, Bnos Chabad representatives Racheli Shatnani and Chaya Grossman, and all of the talented BCM teachers and students who worked so hard to prepare for the festivities. BCM would also like to say a special thank you to Debblin Photography for the beautiful pictures.

I think this is BCM Los Angeles, but you not say that in the heading 2 know at least in what city we’re talking about, so u could have titled it “Mothers and Daughters of L.A. Unite to Celebrate Hakhel”
