Boruch Dayan Hoemes: R’ Avrohom Glitzenstein, 86, OBM
With sadness we inform you of the passing of Reb Avrohom Chanoch Glitzenstein, OBM, a renowned author, educator and veteran member of the Chabad community in Jerusalem. He was 86 years old.
Reb Avrohom served as the chairman of Chabad educational institutions in Jerusalem, which include the elementary, high school and Beis Chana seminary. He also served for many years as the Menahel of Yeshivas Toras Emes-Chabad in the holy city.
Reb Avrohom’s published works include over 60 Seforim. Notable among them is ‘Sefer Hatoldos,’ an historical perspective on the lives of the Chabad Rebeiim.
He is survived by his wife, Gita, and daughter, Rivka Baila Veisfish, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His Levaya and burial took place this afternoon in Jerusalem.
