Talmidei Hashluchim Gather in Australia

Last week there was a grand Kinus for the Talmedei Hashluchim of Australia, who were sent from their own Yeshivos after graduating to inspire and assist younger students in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

The kinus took place in Sydney, and the purpose was to give inspiration and chayos to the wider community.

The Kinus kicked off Thursday night with a fabrengan led by Rabbi Gourarie, which lasted until the wee hours of the morning. The next morning after breakfast a shiur was given by Sydney’s head Shliach Rabbi Pinchas Feldman on the privilege and responsibility of being on Shlichus, the theme of this year’s kinus.

Friday night at the yeshiva and Shabbos day at the Hirshowitz family there were farbrengens which attracted a wide variety of people from the community. The kinus ended with a fantastic Melave Malka at the Barber home, which was highlighted by talks from R’ Groner on kashrus and R’ Barber on Hilchos Beis Habechira.

The affect of this Kinus was palpable by everyone.

The Shluchim came from Yeshiva Gedola of Melbourne, Yeshiva College of Melbourne, Yeshiva Centre of Sydney and Perth.
