Rocket Debris Lands on Kfar Chabad

Soldiers from the IDF’s Homefront Command came to Kfar Chabad today to collect rocket shrapnel which peppered the area.

This comes following the renewed rocket attacks from terrorists in the Gaza Strip, who have fired over 127 rockets since they broke the ceasefire yesterday.

Rocket shrapnel from the Iron Dome missile defense system, along with pieces of the rockets they destroyed, landed in the backyards of homes in Kfar Chabad, as well as in the agricultural fields that surround it. A large portion of a missile warhead landed in the nearby village of Tzafaria.

The IDF told Shturem.net that it is absolutely prohibited for residents to collect and hold pieces of rockets, adding that the shrapnel serves as an indicator of how important it is to stay in the safe rooms when the sirens sound.
