‘Day of the Rebbe’ in Moscow
In anticipation of Gimmel Tammuz, marking 20 years since the Rebbe’s passing, the Jewish community of Moscow, Russia gathered at the Marina Roscha Synagogue for a ‘Day of the Rebbe.’
The day began with a seminar and question and answer session with several local community leaders, including: Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar, Rabbi Yitzchok Kogan, Rabbi Dovid Karpov and Rabbi Moshe Rochlin.
A video of the Rebbe was shown, after which the attendees were given the opportunity to write a Pan to the Rebbe, which would be later placed at the Rebbe’s Ohel in New York.
The highlight of the day was a grand Farbrengen, led by Rabbi Lazar and others, who shared words of inspiration, yearning and resolve.
