The Rebbe Spoke Only One Language: Yours
In honor of 20 years since Gimmel Tammuz, a number of Shluchim are spearheading the publication of a beautiful new magazine, specifically geared toward Jews who have made contact but not yet fully engaged with Chabad.
The magazine is being published by The Shluchim Office, in collaboration with JEM and Chabad.org.
The Rebbe magazine is a hand-delivered message to every Jew that the Rosh Bnei Yisroel “knows you, cares for you and empowers you to live joyously and Jewishly.”
Masterfully designed by the team at Spotlight Design, the magazine delivers a glimpse of the power of the Rebbe, with the goal of revealing the power of the reader.
The 28-page colorful print magazine is:
• Focused on the reader; from cover to cover, answering “What’s in it for me?”
• Structured for easy reading, picking up and putting down, skipping back and forth.
• Filled with eye-catching titles, images and sections to pop out in the mail or in a waiting room.
• Written for an average, educated American reader (lihavdil, in the realm of TIME magazine not a tabloid and not an academic journal)
• Created in cooperation with Chabad.org and JEM to completely verify all content and use only stellar imagery all the way through.
It includes:
• Opening editorial from Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks: A Daring Spiritual Initiative.
• “In Short”: 12 new answers to age old questions – the Rebbe’s teachings adapted by Rabbi Simon Jacobson.
• “What is a Rebbe?” by Rabbi Tzvi Freeman.
• In Other Words: Leaders and laypeople remember the words that sparked their spirits.
• Every deed is critical: the Rebbe’s teachings from the mission to the moon, adapted by Rabbi Yanki Tauber
• Feature article: The Rebbe of every person and of all people, by Mrs. Rochel Holzkenner.
• Vision & Focus: A photo essay.
• The ten Mivtzoim.
• Closing editorial from Joseph Telushkin: Until the Last Candle is Lit.

The older generation was able to see and be with the Rebbe. Maybe its time for our generation to see a live Rebbe.

The choice of pictures and articles are very appropriate, short and to the point.

The cover is wrong!!! The rebbe spoke many language including yours!!! He did NOT only speak 1 language. Although its a play of words and its cute etc. it’s Not okay. You can be cute smart etc. without having a NOn-truth in the headline.
