Knesset to Honor Lubavitcher Rebbe

In an unexpected move, the Israeli Knesset voted this morning to dedicate a session to discussing the life and legacy of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, on the day marking 20 years since his passing.

The proposal was put forth by MK Yaakov Mergi (Shas), at the urging of Kfar Chabad activist Reb Zalman Wolf.

They should honor the Rebbe by declaring who is a Jew according to halacha and by forbidding so-called peace talks and any land give-aways.
