First in 20 Years: Oholei Torah Group Portrait
Over 1,800 students, from pre-school all the way through Shiur Daled Zal, stood in front of the Oholei Torah educational complex for a group portrait this morning.
This marks the first time in over two decades that this monumental task has been undertaken.
The group portrait was taken by Chaim Perl and crew, who also is the photographer for the Kinus Hashluchim group portrait.
While the students were waiting for the picture to be taken, they recited the 12 Pesukim and were entertained with a show by The Twins from France.

They Are Counting Down The Days to “Freedom” (?)
Very nice…much Nachas, ken yirbu..
That said….
Why are our children (including Bachurim) counting the days down to the end of Yeshiva?
Why are our Teachers (Rebbe’s), Mashpeyim, and Rosh Yeshivas, counting the days down to the end of Yeshiva?
Whose more excited about the “summer vacation”, is it the teachers, Mashpeyim, and Rosh Yeshivas or the children and Bachorim?

the hanhala needs the brake in order to proper for the next generation and every year it gets worse and worse the gape between the generation before and with out that brake it would be impossible to pass on to the next generation so is it in no need? of cores they need it and if they don’t get it the beginning of the year would be just like the end of the year just with out the kids Cooperation – no control out all.

Awesome pic! Oholei torah is the best! You see how the bachurim are using their time to learn! They should have told the boys to tuck in their shirts. But then you would never know that they are from OT!
YOU HAVE THE KIDS NOW DO THE RIGHT WORK WITH THEM!
Great to see, KA”H!!
May Hashem give the Oholei Torah staff the strength and wisdom to not only focus on quantity, but ALSO on quality!!
i was driving by...
it was one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen

I guess you never take vacation.. but do you really think the Rebbis must slave without needing or deserving a brake? You are probably, A)Too busy making money that have no time to stop and take vacation. B)Doing nothing so don’t need to take vacation. C)Do not want to face the fact that you have to “deal” with your kids 2 months a year after the school “worked for you” a whole school year. THEY DO NOT OWE YOU ANYTHING AND DO NOT NEED YOUR PERMISSION TO GO ON VACATION. IF YOU THINK YOU CAN DO A BETTER JOB MAYBE YOU SHOULD OPEN YOUR OWN YESHIVA WERE YOU AND THE REBBIS YOU HIRE NEVER GO ON VACATION.
Just some gut some people called "Rebbe"
I can only point out to what the Rebbe himself said about this subject.

A good Teacher
They say that someone who loves his job, never worked a day in his life. A teacher who feels like he’s being slaved and who is not happy and excited to be in the class room, should not be teaching!!! Period!!!
Besides, slaves don’t get paid.
Slaves can’t come and go as they please. Teachers are always free to leave.

This is the shluchim picture of tomorrow.

Chiddush of the week: A group picture is more important than building the Bais Hamikdosh!
“Tinokos shel bais rabbon” do not stop learning even if they are needed to build the bais hamikdosh, but they do stop for a group picture.
Therefore, a group picture must really be more important than building the bais hamikdosh.
Can you shlog op my chiddush?!
