“I Knew You’d Come” Netanyahu Tells Chabad Visitors

A group of Lubavitchers went this morning to be Menachem Avel the Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu after the passing of his father, Professor Ben Tzion Netanyahu, OBM. The PM warmly thanked the visitors personally, and asked that they convey his thanks to all Chabaniks for sending their individual Nichumim.

The entourage included Reb Binyomin Lifshitz, chairman of the Vaad of Kfar Chabad, R. Yaakov Gloiberman, chairman of the Chessed organization Yad B’Yad, Reb Levi Edrai and R. Zalman Wolff who organized the visit.

As the group walked in Mr. Netanyahu smiled and said “I know you would come.”

At the home of the Netanyahus the group ‘bumped into’ the former opposition leader Ms. Tzippi Livni – who came by immediately after her resignation from her post in the Knesset, minister of transportation Mr. Yisrael Katz, former Knesset member Raanan Cohen and Ayal Chayimovsky – the newly appointed administrator of the office of the Prime Minister.
