Fire Rips Through Kfar Chabad
A fire broke out today in the northern section of Kfar Chabad, located in central Israel. The fire caught on to dry thorn bushes and spread quickly, threatening nearby homes and their inhabitants.
Firefighters were summoned, and the residents of the neighborhood took measures to control the fire and try to keep it away from the homes.
The Gabbai of Mendel’s Shul, which the fire was adjacent to, acted quickly and removed the Sifrei Torah from the premises.
After much effort, the fire was finally brought under control in the late afternoon.
