After Visit to R’ Elimelech, a Triple Seudas Mitzvah

A group of Chassidim from Eretz Yisroel spent this past Shabbos in Lizensk, Poland, to spend the Yahrtzeit of the Tzadik Reb Elimelech near his gravesite.

After Shabbos, the group traveled to VInnitza in neighboring Ukraine, were they were graciously welcomed by the city’s chief rabbi Shaul Horowitz.

While the group was there, the community of Vinnitza celebrated a triple Simcha: the bris of one of the boys learning at the local Or Avner Jewish Day School, and two Pidyon Haben ceremonies for two newborn sons of members of community.

A grand Se’udas Mitzvah was held to celebrate the momentous occasion, and the visiting group was given the honor of participating in the celebration.
