Toronto Bochurim Go Ice Fishing on Frozen Lake
This week, the Mesivta bochurim of Yeshivas Lubavitch-Toronto were rewarded with an ice fishing trip for participating in a special Mivtza on Davening, which has been ongoing since before Yud Shvat.
The Mivtza includes Shiurim of the basic Pirush Hamilos of Davening, as well as Pirushim on Davening based on Chassidus.
The Bochurim were rewarded for their excellence on the weekly tests, as well as their exceptional Davening.
At the sprawling vacation home of Carl R., the Bochurim learned Chassidus, davened Shacharis, enjoyed a mouth-watering breakfast, and headed out to Lake Simcoe for ice fishing.
After ice fishing, the Bochurim enjoyed an array of activities available in the house, including air hockey, an indoor swimming pool, a workout gym, and much more. These activities were followed by a grand barbecue.
Special thanks go to all the older bochurim, Shluchim, and Yeshiva staff who helped make this Mivtza and the trip a success.

If someone travels across a frozen ocean (like the Arctic Ocean), does he bentch Gomel? Is the sakana less because the ocean is frozen?
