Armed Robbery Attempted in Kfar Chabad

Today, Tuesday, two unidentified masked suspects riding a motorcycle pulled up next to a vehicle being driven by the owner of a jewelry store in Kfar Chabad, Israel.

The suspects fired shots into the air in an attempt to intimidate the storeowner into stopping, so that they could then rob him.

However, to their chagrin, instead of stopping, the storeowner continued driving and managed to evade them.

The storeowner then called the police and the community’s volunteer security force.  After reporting the incident, the police immediately set out to search the area for the suspects.

The police initiated an investigation, but as of yet neither of the perpetrators have been caught.
