Huge Shipment Arrives at Kehot Showroom

A huge shipment of sefarim was delivered to Kehot right after Purim. According to Kehot showroom director, Rabbi Avrohom Holtzberg, some 60,000 volumes recently arrived by container from Kehot printers in Israel and elsewhere.

“Reprinting our two thousand+ titles is a non-stop activity,” notes Rabbi Holtzberg. “Our showroom space is filled to capacity with new books and reprints, including siddurim and more than 20 different Pesach Haggadahs.”

Good news for newly married couples

The classic books Kesser Shem Tov, by the Baal Shem Tov, and Ohr Torah, by the Maggid, are now back in stock. It states in Sefer Haminhagim-Chabad that it is vital that every Chasidic home should posses these holy books and the Tanya. These classic books are now once again available for purchase.

Likkutei Torah & Siddur

Another classic sefer just reprinted is the Alter Rebbe’s Likkutei Torah. The maamrim in Likkutei Torah begin with parshas Vayikra. The latest reprint of Likkutei Torah was dedicated by the Chitrik family in memory of the late Rabbi Hirshel Chitrik and in memory of his late brother Rabbi Aaron Chitrik, editor of the latest editions of Likkutei Torah. The Alter Rebbe’s Siddur im Dach also arrived in the shipment.

“Ayin Beis”

In honor of the 100th anniversary of the delivery by the Rebbe Rashab’s Hemshech Tof Reish Ayin Beis, a handsome reprint of the three-volume set has also arrived in the shipment. This series of maamarim, known amongst Chasidim as “Ayin Beis,” is known for its profundity and depth, and is famous for being one of the deepest in Chasidus.

Rave Reviews

In his famous pithy style, Pulitzer Prize author Herman Wouk lauds the Haggadah as: “deep, complete, and lively with Hasidic Lore. A fine volume.”

Midwest Book Review calls the Haggadah, “impressive and especially beautiful.”

In reviewing Kehot’s Pirkei Avot, Chief Rabbi Jonathan Sacks writes: “The Pirkei Avot is an invaluable addition to the library of Jewish scholarship. This volume has succeeded in presenting some of the deepest profundities of Torah thought, judiciously selected from a broad range of commentaries, in a succinct and accessible manner. The biographical sketches of the Sages featured in Avot, in addition to the unique insights gleaned from the teachings of the late Lubavitcher Rebbe, will immeasurably enhance the reader’s appreciation of this timeless tractate.”

Rabbi Dr. Norman Lamm writes: “… a tribute to the publishers of this excellent volume. Its publication in a large and handsome format is enhanced by the commentary, especially by the late Lubavitcher Rebbe.”

This is great news for Anash. With all the shiurim going in in in Criwn Heights these days, the new shipment will help grow all the chasidus classes.
Kudos to Kehos for believing in us. Yes, we still need and want the seforim.
