Sheliach R’ Avrohom Lipszyc from Florida and son. You are the best….
Exclusive Club
No locals allowed. The Kinus is to give us a pat on the back. It is all about us. This is our moment. We need to feel special. We get to wear ID tags and carry Kinus Bags because we are members of this exclusive club.
Grow up
Let’s not act like children – the ID tags are needed, not because it makes us feel special.
We are grown ups and don’t need a pat on the back – shlichus is our career and our profession.
It is an “exclusive” club, only for the worthy.
In the world there are leaders and followers who support them. We are leaders and others are followers/supporters.
wow
that is some serious resentment and feeling of inadequacy….
Time to find something that you feel proud of yourself for.
Every Chossid is a shliach of the Rebbe, if he does what the Rebbe wants of him.
Its ok that the shluchim wear badges and have a weekend to enjoy. It doesnt make you lower class.
Time to grow up
Yanki
Yup, and they earned it. Big time.

Yes,
that is right instead of living in comfort of Kosher food, good schools, mikvahs, chassideher friends for their kids and themselves, all being readily available, they give over thier lives to do the Rebbes Shlichus.
You too can join the “exclusive club”, become a shliach/shlucha.

The Kinus is one of the Rebbe’s wishes. For a Shliach (specially those like me who live in remote areas ), it is a time to poshet brith, recharge inspiration and unite with fellow Chassidim. And yes, the kinus help us remember that we are an extension of the Meshaleach and therefore we are very special. It is also a time to connect community members to the Rebbe and inspire them.

Don’t forget that the Rebbe strongly supported the kinnus hashluchim and made a big deal out of it. To be the Rebbe’s shliach is special, and there’s nothing wrong with acknowledging that fact and respecting them.
