Sefer HaMaamarim Published in Spanish

In honor of Yud Alef Nissan, the Rebbe’s 111 birthday, Editorial Kehot Lubavitch Sudamericana has released the first volume of Chassidic Discourses in Spanish introducing the learning of Maamorim in a clear and self explanatory Shiur-Type edition for the Latin-American community around the world.

The book presents 17 Discourses of various Rebbes, translating in bold type the original Maamar and adding along explanation in regular type as well as more than 1200 explanatory footnotes.

The news of its release has sparked great enthusiasm in Latin-American communities and was specially welcomed and presented at the Central Chabad’s Yud Alef Nissan Farbrengen by Rabbi Nosson Grunblatt, the Rebbe’s shliach and head of the Kehot’s Spanish Department based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for the past 30 years.

“Yud Alef Nissan 1990 I handed the Rebbe our first Spanish Edition of the HaYom Yom recently published, and the Rebbe gave me his holy blessing: ‘a Yasher Koach'”, he explains, quickly adding, “to work on this project over a year and give the Rebbe such a gift on his birthday, is a great Zechus for our publishing team”.

The release was also celebrated with an exclusive and special Farbrengen the following Shabbos at Rabbi Grunblatt´s residence for the sponsors of this project.

It includes the Chassidic Discourses recited at a Bris, Bar Mitzvah and weddings, the famous series Bati LeGani, the beloved maamar Veata Tetzave and many more.
