Simi Jacobson Invests in Cheder at the Ohel

Mr. Simi Jacobson, C.E.O of The J. Group, joins Kasriel Shemtov and Faivish Pewzner, pillars of the Cheder, with his generous pledge of $18,000.

Simi Jacobson, a supporter of many charitable and educational causes, in a statement to the press, said: “I’m very proud to be a supporter of Cheder at the Ohel, a school that is committed to excellence, helping those children that need personal attention, and to perpetuating the Rebbe’s legacy at the Ohel. I urge others to follow suit”.

In addition to his personal financial commitment, Simi is introducing to the Cheder a number of his associates from Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, as well as a number of CEOs of major Wall Street companies.

This news comes as Cheder at the Ohel is embarking on a building campaign, which will – with Hashem’s help – finally provide the Cheder with a much needed, all encompassing facility.
