Baby Moshe Still Awaits Compensation
Grandfather of baby Moshe, one of the youngest survivors of the 26/11 terrorist attacks, is still waiting for an announcement regarding compensation for his grandson.
Moshes parents, Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and his wife Rivka, were among five hostages killed at Nariman House, the Chabad Jewish centre at Colaba. Moshe, who is half American, was rescued by his Indian nanny Sandra Samuel.
Right now, the Jewish community that has adopted Moshe is taking care of his education and other expenses. “I read in newspapers and was told by some authorities that Moshe will get compensation from the Indian government, but so far, we have heard nothing official, said Holtzberg. Presently, I am in New York and Moshe is in Israel with his maternal grandparents Rabbi Shimon Rosenberg and his wife Yehudit. While our community is taking care of our grandson very well, Id like to know whether or not he will get any compensation to secure his future,” said Holtzberg.
When approached, the authorities at Chabad House refused to comment on the issue.
After 26/11, many fund-raising programmes were initiated by different organizations in Israel, and a Web site was also launched to help baby Moshe. Its not that Moshe is facing any problems, said Holtzberg. We can never take the place of Moshes parents, but we just want to ensure he is financially secure, he added.Holtzberg intends to have all his queries answered when he comes to Mumbai for the inauguration of a museum-cum-education centre at Nariman House in a few months from now.

Millions were already raised, so far, y so called “chabad” (whoever wants to call themselves by that name) and all CLAIMED that it was supposedly going for Moshele.
Where is the accounting, on exactly how much money was already raised so far and where is that money now?
Are millions being used to make a MUSEUM, in order to enable the museum to be exploited for the sole purpose of being used to raise even more money for “?????” (the fundraisers OTHER totally unrelated purposes.
How much of that money raised by so many different organizations are perhaps EXPLOITING this tragedy to use the raised money on “administrative expenses” of the fundraising org. rather than having the majority of the funds going directly to Moshele?
