28th Hachnosa LeCheder for Rabbi Wilansky!

MONTREAL, Canada [CHI] — When a child reaches the age of attending Cheder it is a very special event for both parents and the teachers. For teacher Rabbi Yossi Wilansky this was his 28th year, but the energy and love made it seem like it’s his first.

The new Talmidim took turns entering their new Pre-1A class wrapped in a Tallis and had candies and sweets thrown at them as they entered, and got to lick the honey off the first letters of the Alef Bet that they read.

“We hope the students take the sweetness of the honey and excitement through their years of torah learning” said Rabbi Wilansky to the parents and the new Temimim.

Rabbi Wilansy is one of the true and real rebbeim, cares for each student as if they were his own children.

If we could each have just a small part of kindness the world would be a better place.

Thank you Rabbi Wilansky for keeping YTTL a pleasant atmosphere!

Just with the same love for Yidishkeit and Torah rabbi Wilansky openes up the children`s souls of adult Jews from former Soviet Union in the Jewish Russian Community Center of Montreal. Just as he started his teaching career he joined Rabbi Sirota`s minian at the center where Rabbi Wilansky is very loved and respected. His home with Malka, his wife and many children is an open home. But you can find him mostly on mifzoim, with his kids. He is a pride and joy of our community and we wish him, his family and his students Shana Tova, health, Peace and Shalom.

Boruch- Hashem ,our son has had the beautiful experience of having a Hachnoso L’Cheder to Rabbi Wilansky’s class in YTTL. We feel very privileged to have Rabbi Wilansky as our son’s Rebbi. Although this is K“AH our fifth son going through his class, we are still amazed at the warmth, caring and Chassidishkeit that Rabbi Wilansky gives to his Talmidim. He puts so much Chayus into his teaching, and really instills a love for learning in his Talmidim.
We wish Rabbi Wilansky much Hatzlocho and may he be Zoche to lead his talmidim to greet the Rebbe MH”M Now!

I am thankful & humbled by all the comments. My kavanah was that the good that our Yeshivah does should be known. Yes Mrs. Lipskier, I almost forgot, as a Bochur in Morriston in ’74 & ’75, I taught the children of the Roshei Yeshivah: Mendel Lipskier and Moshe & Levi Heber. So Mendel was my first. Moshe H. are u Moshe Heber? Parents, wherever you are, Rebbeim/Morahs are human beings we can all use compliments. Keeping in touch with your child’s Rebby/Morah and being supportive can help your child succeed. To quote Rabbi Chitrik of Tzfas: “ Chinuch means a kesher with ahavah, and before the s’moll doiche should be a kiruv with both hands.” Be’ezras Hashem Yisborach, may all talmiddim/talmidos find learning and the way of torah, sweet throughout their lives. MayI continue to be a source of nachas to my parents and family. may the internet be used only for spreading Torah, Yiddishkeit and good news, anad may the world be filled with the knowledge of Hashem with the coming of Melech Ha’Moshiach NOW!
