Five Car Collision Injures Ten Near Prospect Park
Ten people were injured, including four Jews, after a ‘dollar van’ slammed into a car that was waiting at a red light on Ocean and Parkside Ave. at the edge of Prospect Park, causing a chain collision involving five vehicles.
The incident occurred at around 5:40pm today; Boro Park and Crown Heights Shomrim members witnessed the accident and sprang into action, calling 911 and Hatzolah, as well as administering first aid.
All the injured were transported by the FDNY’s ambulances to Kings County Hospital.

These dollar vans drive recklessly , they often have no insurance and have drivers using suspended licenses.Very often you see them driving with out of state plates.
It is about time the police took action and started taking these dangerous drivers off the road for the safety of other motorists and pedestrians.
