2nd Accident Occurs in Same Intersection 1 Day Later

A rear-end collision occurred at the intersection of Eastern Parkway and Kingston Ave. at about 6:00pm last evening, in almost exactly the same spot and at almost exactly the same time as the accident which occurred there one day earlier.

I go bike riding everyday between 5-7, ever since the DOT took away a lane theres been accidents on the Parkway and these are the ones i see, who knows how many more there actually were.

I think they will have to reconsider the change.

  • Bring back the lane!!

This is insanity! How many more accidents will it take until the city realizes how stupid it was to take away a lane.

  • The city messed up.

The new lane changes are unsafe, causing sudden stop and go traffic. It’s just a matter of time until someone sues the city for major $ for the unsafe roadway that has been created.

  • Big shoulders

It’s a good thing they took away a lane on the parkway, now there are more cars congested into a smaller space.

WHERE IS OUR GRAND COMMUNITY COUNCIL??????????? YOU SHOULD BE BUSY GETTING RID OF THIS CHANGE, INSTEAD OF WASTING YOUR TIME !!!!

  • Guns and Cars Off the Streets

This is what Bloomberg wants. Guns and cars off the streets.

  • MR SOFER

YOU SOUND LIKE YOU’RE JUST LOOKING FOR BUSINESS. THE CARS INVOLVED IN THESE ACCIDENTS WERE NOT JEWISH OWNED OR DRIVEN!!!!

  • Shulhan Aruch

I am sure Mr. Sofer is very busy now anyway, being that it is Elul when the Shulhan Aruch also advises to check mezuzos.

this has nothing to do with the lane change this was caused by an ambulance. the ambulance caused a car to stop short setting a 3 car accident.

    • Because of the lane changes!

If the lanes hadn’t been so congested, then even a car stopping short has less of a chance being rammed from behind . This is because cars would be more spread out over three lanes..
The drivers should sue the city for unsafe road conditions leading to an accident.
