Car Collides with Tractor Trailer, Injures Driver

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — An impatient driver was the cause of a serious accident between her Toyota sedan and an 18-wheeler. Eyewitnesses to the accident said that the tractor trailer was making a left turn from New York on to Lefferts Avenue when the car attempted to pass it and the two collided.

The impact sent the Toyota careening into parked cars, destroying a number of them, and thankfully not hurting any pedestrians.

A Shomrim member who witnessed the accident gave initial care to the driver of the sedan, and EMS arrived a short while later and transported her to a local hospital in stable condition.

Never fight with anyone or anything bigger than you. What a moron. Was she insured? It’s good there was a witness or the poor truck driver would be blamed.

Good job none of our BR or Mosdos kids were crossing that corner.

  • Not very smart, Toyota!

Dudes, when your in a hurry, the best thing isn’t necessarily to rush when your right next to an eighteen-wheeler!! Or any car for that matter!! It’s better be late then not there at all!!

  • Perplexed Driver

There’s reckless driving but then theres just plain stupid.

Seriously was 30 seconds you would have saved by passing him worth the injury, the car insurance, the possible law suits and the next few hours you spent in the hospital?

  • patience

    im assuming shes not jewish
but serves her right like have some patience
especially when your next to a 18 wheeler!!
