Woman Struck by Van at the Corner of Empire and Troy

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — At around 9:45 this morning, Wednesday, a woman was struck by a commercial van. She was crossing Empire Boulevard by foot, at the intersection of Troy Avenue, when the incident took place. It is unclear as to what caused the accident.

Police and FDNY EMS both responded to the scene. EMS treated the woman, then transported her to Kings County Hospital for further treatment. The driver of the van did not require any medical attention.
