What??
Why is the moral that bikers should be safe? Why not the stupid driver clearly not checking their mirrors to make sure it’s safe?
Looooooooser
Because if there’s a collision with a car 99% of the time the biker will be the loser.

Who is on the wrong?
Illegal U Turn
Seriously?
Menachem
The driver making an illegal u-turn, obviously.

“Stay safe while riding your bike”
Alt.:
* Check your mirrors and use a turn signal
* While riding your bike, expect drivers to make a u-turn across a double-double yellow from the far right side of the road
Is there a video? Likely will see the biker trying to go around the car double-parked in the bike lane just to get “nailed,” then blamed for getting hit
Not blaming the biker
Bikers should not drive on the road
Moshe
Then where, on the sidewalk? And put pedestrians in danger?
Ideally, we could separate pedestrians, drivers, and bicyclists, but every time we try to do that the community blocks it in favor for prioritizing drivers über ales
bad drivers
irresponsible drivers are going to get people killed
Crazy streets
The streets are not rooted in the reality of the city and lifestyle of Brooklyn. It’s a city where everyone is running. And there’s no room for nuke lanes
Also, bikers, scooters, etc are
1) Less visible
2) Qre either ahead or behind traffic so people aren’t expecting them
3) Weave in and out of every lane and opening
4) Riding where there are no bike lanes and here in the middle of the street
