In Extraordinary Gesture, Netanyahu Presents Trump with Rebbe Dollar and ‘B-2 Mezuzah’

Ahead of their first meeting on Monday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented US President Donald Trump with a unique and symbolic gift: a dollar from the Renbbe and a mezuzah shaped like an American B-2 bomber.

The gesture referenced the bomber used in the recent US strike on Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility and underscored the close military and strategic cooperation between Israel and the United States.

A mezuzah, especially a B-2 mezuzah, is a nice measure of protection, but only as long as there’s a kosher scroll inside and the mezuzah it’s properly affixed to the doorpost on the right as we enter.

The Rema in Yoreh Deah 291:2 explicitly rules that it is forbidden to give a mezuzah to a gentile. He should have given instead one of Israel’s finest an award winning bottles of wine from the Golan.

Did you go through the sugar or just googled it like everyone else does.

Yes its true what The Ramah writes based off the Maharil, brought down in his דרכי משה on Tur siman 291.

However to get to the point, Reb Moshe zt”l writes in Igros Moshe ,y”d, cheilik alef, simon 184 at the end says that its ok so long as the goy is respectful the maharil was machmir. (Not like the ירוש’, brought in b”y)
