A Win For Crown Heights As Brian Cunningham Sweeps Opposition

In a sweeping win for the Crown Heights community, Assembymember for the 43rd District, Brian Cunningham sped past the opposition in Tuesday’s election to easily re-secure position as the Democratic nominee.
Cunningham, who previously won the seat in a special election this year, did so with the endorsement and help of the Crown Heights Jewish community, and again thanked the community for their renewed support.
“To all my brothers and sisters in the Crown Heights Jewish community, Thank You,” Cunningham said in a message to the community. “Thank you for having my back tonight. I know that I would not be in this position if it wasn’t for you.”
In the short video, Cunningham recommitted himself to continue fighting for the community’s needs, including public safety and Yeshivas.
Rabbi Yaacov Behrman, one of the leaders of the Crown Heights United Political Action Committee, was with Cunningham as he celebrated his win in the primary election. Cunningham was one of the endorsed candidates by the Crown Heights United Political Action Committee.
