Firefighters Tackle Rooftop Fire On Eastern Parkway

Firefighters rushed to the corner of Kingston Ave and Eastern Parkway Wednesday after smoke began billowing from the roof of the home adjacent to the Jewish Children’s Museum.
The smoke was first reported just minutes after 8:00pm when residents saw smoke billowing from the roof of 800 Eastern Parkway.
Firefighters responded to the area, bringing a flock of onlookers, as they stretched their ladders and identified the fire as being on the roof of the home.
No injuries were reported and the fire appears to be under control.
