Video of the Day
“Never leave home without your weapons,” a motto Nosson Shusterman lives by. Nosson, a bus driver for local schools and a Crown heights Shomrim volunteer, was captured on camera putting Tefillin on a visitor to Crown Heights outside Gombos Bakery.
Nosson was walking by Gombos when he noticed a man exiting the bakery. He immediately asked him if he had put on Teffilin today. After receiving a no, he wasted no time in wrapping him up.
After he finished, he said “The hunger of the body parallels the hunger of the Neshama. So that’s why I didn’t ask if you’re Jewish, instead I asked, did you put on Tefflin today!”
