Video: Who Stole the Tefilin?
A Chosid in Williamsburg recently arrived in Shul one morning to find that his Tefilin had gone missing. Suspecting that they may have been stolen, he obtained the footage from the Shul’s surveillance camera, and was surprised to discover the culprit.
Sources tell CrownHeights.info that a team of volunteers will soon be making the 7-hour trip to Buffalo, NY, where the garbage dump is located, in a bid to recover the lost pair of Tefilin.

Some years back, my husband found tefillin in a corner trash bin on Kingston Avenue. I turned out that a bocher had left his tefillin on his camp bus and the driver emptied whatever was left on the bus into the trash.

Klal Yisroel needs to be very, very careful with Sifrei Torahs, Mezuzahs and Tefillin. HaShem is not happy to see this.
