it has always amazed me how people say things to children that they would never say to adults and ask questions to children that are not appropriate.
when a child turns his face from the camera – the adults get all excited about how cute it is and even funny because the child may be saying something naive that may eventually cause him embarrassment. by turning away from the camera it shows that exposing himself is painful for the child. he is exposing his inner feelings. he feels he is obligated because the adult requested it.
we are so careful to cover the private parts of the body – why do we not resepect the private parts of the soul?
