Sadly, there will be no money as there will be no sales except a few sympathy buyers. I will not be among them because no matter what this will not clear expenses and I don’t want to donate to a fund to bail out a third-rate singer.

That other site and its foolish contest have passed over real Chassidishe talent and awarded amateurs who davka look and sound more like the image that site wants to project.

Then, when the amateurs hit the real music world and issue albums or singles, no one wants them.

This one I would even call a cynical trick on the part of this Ohayon or his handlers to get 15 more minutes of fame – Toulouse is a memory by now and he should have recorded this over a month ago if he were serious.

  • To honor their memory

So deeply tragic but what a beautiful song to honor their memory. Can someone translate it for me.

#2: you are guessing. If you are wrong, then you have really slammed another yid,and publicly spread loshon hora. oy

Better “avak loshon horo” than to see Jews waste hard-earned money thinking they are helping people. If you tell someone to avoid a crummy product made by amateurs, and expose a scam, that is not LH. That’s a mitzva.

Lipa recorded his songs for Leiby Kletzky within 10 days of when it happened. Some of us liked them, some didn’t but he might have raised some money because he wrote his songs at the time of the event. Toulouse happened three months ago, and it is only human nature that people have moved on.

Besides, even if a couple of cents do go to the victims, would you buy a cake baked with salt instead of sugar at a tzedoko sale or would you just throw the couple of cents the tzedoko would get from that cake into a pushka?

Wow some jealousy here lol and too much loshon horo….
This guy did an amazing job and i think you are wrong..!!

The situation is worse than I thought at first.

Check the price for this travesty! This is a scam of the first order.

I am not a singer, so why would I be jealous of someone pretending to be one? However, I am a Jewish music fan and have been for many years. I was shocked beyond belief when this guy, who has no talent and less of a stage presence, won the contest on that other site.

On the other hand, I am a businessman and I don’t cheat customers. I don’t like to see others cheat especially when it comes to cheating fellow Yidden in the name of “tzedoko.”

One thing is for sure, at the price that single is being offered for, it will not get more than a handful of customers in the US. I have no idea what it sells for in France.
