Celebrating the 30th Siyum with R’ Simon Jacobson

In honor of the 30th completion of the Rambam’s Mishneh Torah, TorahCafe.com is proud to host a unique web celebration of this momentous occasion hosted by Rabbi Simon Jacobson.

In 1984 the Rebbe gave the instruction for all Jews, in all locations and at all levels in their learning, to take part in the study of Rambam. The Rebbe offered 3 tracks of study for the varied levels of scholarship among the Jewish people. Today, we mark the 30th completion of the 3-chapter-per-day study as well as the 10th completion of the 1-chapter-per-day course of study.

What is so special about this Webcast? While this is of course a time to honor the Rambam and discuss the Rebbe’s directive to study Mishneh Torah, Rabbi Simon Jacobson takes it a step beyond.
