Video: Chabad Provides Survivor with Renewed Hope
Torah Café
In this video from the National Jewish Retreat, Mrs. Anita Schorr, a Holocaust survivor and recent Baal Teshuva, relates her very moving and emotional story.
Mrs. Schorr was only 13 when she was first sent to Auschwitz and then later to Bergen-Belsen. Fortunately, through a shrewd mother and a couple of unexpected acts of humanity by SS soldiers, she managed to survive.
Here she recalls her horrifying experience and how, many years later, she has found renewed hope through her encounters with Chabad.
