Video: A Short Chanukah Drive
Fourteen years ago, Chanukah fell out on x-mas. That prompted Rabbi Dov Greenberg, currently Shliach of Chabad at Stamford, to relate a true story of inspiration on the subject. He told the story at High Holiday services at Chabad of the Conejo, where he was then employed.
At the same time, a younger Mendy Pellin, was the High Holiday youth director. During most of services he ran from program to program making sure the hundreds of children were having a great time. During the entire Rosh Hashana, Mendy only had time to enter the Shul once for a few minutes. He sat down to catch his breath. It was then that he heard an inspiring story by Rabbi Greenberg that stuck with him.
This year, Mendy brought that story to life in a 3-minute promo film called A Short Chanukah Drive.
