The Making of Bennys Music Video Maaleh Ani
To the best of our knowledge a music video like this has never been done, and its success can be measured in the 21,000 views it received on YouTube. CrownHeights.info is now featuring a unique look behind the scenes and into the making of Benny Friedmans ‘Maaleh Ani’ music video.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the meaning of this?Is there a point I am missing?Does this water immersion have significance or is it as silly as it seems to me?I am not being cynical or sarcastic.I have looked at this since it is on,and I keep thinking that I must be missing ghe point, because I am outdated,,but I don`t see that anyone is making mention of the significance.Could someone enlighten us please?

Very inspiring story.
One thing you can be sure of is that just as you figured out you don’t have to ruin a good instrument for an effect I’m sure they worked that out too. I bet the instruments were old shells.
to #11 and anybody else
All the instruments were bought at a yard sale for $50 complete. They are instruments that were not in good shape and were ready for the garbage. (this info. is off of VosizNeis.com which has an accompanying article of how it was done. I think Benny was trying to send a message of sanctifying ones self with Mikvah WATER…but could only relay the message using a swimming pool.
ala
the drums were bought at a yardsale for 50$ bucks. the guitar and bass were already broken and not in use.
the point of being in the water is bc the words are all about immersion and how hashem loves when the jews do the mitzvah of mikvah- hence the submerged music video. an incredible well done and original video!
