  • motti

these guys r totally nuts.dont complain when the snags make fun of our yeshivah system.and dont be surprised if these shkotzim have probs.with shidduchim, a little self respect…..

  • Disgusting!

Lubavitch has truly become a bunch of mindless, immature drunks. Why are these guys getting plastered on a bus and running around holy sites in their underwear like a bunch of Cossack barbarians? The wouldn’t dare to do this at the Rebbe’s Ohel. They should at least have the decency not to post their antics on the internet for the world to see the spoiled legacy of nine generations of Chassidim.

Surely the Baal Shem Tov and the Alter Rebbe are rolling in their graves!

  • mrhappy

great job shmueli bell you rock!
awsome video good luck with makng a yeka lution!

  • To # 3 & 4

U guys obviously need to watch the video again…. I thought it was beautiful! At both kevorim they were all wearing hats and jackets except one person….. Disgusting to see u guys attacking them…. Some of my closest friends in this world are in ukrain now and he amount of yidishkeit they spread their is absolutely amazing….. Get out of ur ch bubble and go see the world

  • Disgusting!

    To #6:

I’ve seen the world, actually. I lived on four continents, went to a secular university, and visited all the grave sites in the video. The thing is, this type of irreverent behavior – especially by supposedly religious people – doesn’t pass for appropriate anywhere but in the mindset created by the “ch bubble.” No amount of yiddishkeit-spreading will cure the fact that they look like cretins, who probably shouldn’t be entrusted with the safety of children.

  • Keep up the great work chevrah!

To anyone who dares mock this video, know its the Rebbe your mocking (- shluchei shel adam kemosoi MAMASH). -Levi W.

  • Mother and son.

Even my 12 year old son was shocked at the behavior of these boys. Has anyone noticed that most of what they are doing is eating, real close-ups of eating!?
If this does not cause your knees to jerk, my friends, we have really reached an all time low.
I have always dreamed of going to these kevarim, now it looks like its been cheapened. How sad.

  • disturbing

instead of being ashamed of posting this disturbing unrespectful video what are you showing the world a bunch of idiots acting crazy instead of being serious and preparing to visit the holy places with some learning and tehillim etc.

  • To #3 and #4

You should be proud of our Yeshivah boys. These “nut guys” are using their energy for good things – Kevorim trip. I am sure other Yeshivos are jealous and impressed of how our Yeshivah boys thinking of such amazing Kedusha trip.

  • #7s ego is just

Well said #8…..#7 obviously doesn’t understand the mesiras Nefesh that’s involved in going to a country like ukrain were kosher food and drink is hard to find….. And u got to do what u got to do to get by every day….. Shame on him for bashing the rebbes shluchim

  • Uhuh, mesirus nefesh my tuchus.

I’m sorry, but it isn’t mesirus nefesh just because you sleep on a bad mattress for a few weeks and don’t have a decent meal. These guys are there on a backpacking trip and also happen to be counselors. They party the whole way through and have a great time doing the job they do. Yes, it’s challenging, even grueling at times, and takes a lot of energy. But there are a lot more difficult challenges that real shluchim go through on a daily basis. And most of those shluchim don’t get return tickets.

  • ashamed

one of these boys is my son and I’m ashamed of what I saw. I thought they were better than this it proves that young adults arent grown up. I hope my family andfriends don’t recognize him. I know they want to be leiberdike but the drinking on the bus shocked me. Why do they have to do that? I thought i raised my son to know how to act properly. Im shockedand upset and i uthink the people who wrote here are right.

  • Leah

wow…. to #4, first of all I 100% agree w/ u on how they are dressed for visiting kevorim of tzadikim… i dont know a single person that would go to rebbe’s ohel in NY without a shirt on…

these “bochurim” r supposedly on shlichus, yet they do not dress like bochurim… jeans, wifebeaters, tshirts, kipa sruga…. they are supposed to be having good hashpoah on the campers, yet they don’t even follow the guidelines/norms established within lubavitch.

and as far as the drinking on the bus… its truly embarrasing..

  • You Don-t Know Yeka

The “Yeka” camp in Dnepr has a culture of its own. Part of that culture is breaking the boundaries and pushing the envelope a bit, but without forgetting who they are and whose city they are working in. It differs from year to year, but I believe they raise at least part of the money for the camp themselves, and nothing is all that cheap in Ukraine anymore.

Nothing wrong with dressing comfortably on a bus or plane, especially when you are a bochur. Every time I fly I regret wearing a suit, even if it is an old one.

By the time they got to the kvorim, only one of them was improperly dressed – and who knows that he did not forget his suit, have an inyan with his luggage, or mess it up somehow, not that being a non-conformist is so terrible these days in Lubavitch.

Those of us who were or are here in Dnepr know what the counselors do for the kids and for the whole community, and we also know that like anyone else, they need to let off a little steam. If there is a drinking age here, it is 18, so they are doing nothing illegal.

Years ago a delegation of “chashuvei Anash” came from E”Y to see the kvorim, and I had the misfortune to spend Shabbos with them in a major FSU city. They acted far worse, especially as far as liquor was concerned. No self-control at all. Instead of sharing the huge amount of food they brought from EY, they made sure the locals, who at that time were truly hungry, got none of it. Instead of the singing together and friendly farbrenging that Yeka is known for, after a few lechaims these so-called role models were heckling their so-called friends as they got up to speak – these so-called leaders of Chabad in EY showed themselves as just a bunch of immature men who were enjoying a weekend without their wives and children.

    Go Yeka!
