A school-bus driving on 47th Street and 12th Avenue, in Boro Park, Brooklyn went up in flames on Friday afternoon, sending thick black smoke through the streets. The bus was empty at the time of the fire, and was destroyed by the flames. There was no one injured in the incident.

    this is a yeolies dream come true, i heard they made an early recess in school so all the kids could come and watch, there was also a cholent stand setup to provide snacks during the entertainment

    Must have been really scary for people passing by seeing that, not knowing if there were kids inside or not.

    Schools should give kids bus safety lessons, and teach them what to do in case of bus fire, just like what they should do in case of school fire.
