Paper Thin and Flexible: The Future of Smartphones?

Guys, please show some tech literacy. What they displayed is only bendable Input/Output device interface. All the circuitry in this interface is to detect signal from bending and LCD screens – which are commonly this thin today. This IO device is connected to actual system that does the processing – and we don’t know how big it is, may be it was connected to PC. And what is the big technical innovation – bending is so inconvenient, touching is so much simpler. This is just scientific proof of concept – with the hope there is application for bending. I am certain there is in some scenario – but not in smartphone mass-market.
