This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Please post more of this.

  • Cant believe it..

If thats how Rabbi friedman starts off his lecture, speaking about other chassidim that way, its not worth even listening to the rest of this dvar torah. By all chassidim the bigger the chossid the bigger the rebbe… unbelievable.

#4, you’re an am haaretz of the first order. what rabbi friedmansaid is big chiddush and if you are to criticize it, you should say it’s not true in chabad either – but to say it true everywhere is total stupidity.

You know…Actually I’m not even gonna comment.

(However I want you to imagine how silly I consider your comment, so I’m commenting to let you know that I’m not gonna comment. My logic is brilliant!)

i dont understand what you are trying to say, in the first page of tanya it say’s clearly that by all other chasidim there rebbe does all the work and they get all the benifit but in chasidus chabad the chosid does the work the rebbe is there to guid him.(will you close the tanya the second you open it?)

hence THE BIGGIR THE CHOSID THE BIGGIR THE REBBE.

While the opening statements of Rabbi Friedman may sound shocking to you, they aren’t even anything new. One of the (if not the most) basic difference between Chabad and Chagas chassidim is the Rebbe-Chossid Relationship.

Check out this story the Frierdiker Rebbe tells about Rabbi Yaakov Mordechai Bezpalov (Days of Chabad pg 31-32):
